Things to do in Blaine, WA
The Semiahmoo Spit encloses Drayton Harbor, providing an intimate setting of protected wildlife along the shoreline of Blaine. The waterfront allows for diverse bird-watching, clamming and fishing. Visitors can explore the towns past at the Drayton Harbor Maritime Museum and enter into that history with a ride on the old Washington state foot ferry, The Plover, across the Harbors expanse to Semiahmoo Spit where a resort, golf club, and views of Semiahmoo Bay await. There is a also public access dock for those who prefer to take their own boat, perhaps to kayak along the stunning coastline.
