All About Lopez Island, WA

Lopez Island is one of the three main islands of the San Juan archipelago. Its 30-mile expanse is mostly rural landscape of open farmland shrouded in stunning island scenery. It was named for a Spanish explorer who charted the island in 1791. In recent years population has grown, but tends to hover around 2,000 people, conveying a strong sense of community to visitors.
