Things to do in Tacoma, WA

Tacoma's waterfront is a place of continual creation and development. Many small businesses scattered along the waterfront provide spaces for the community to enjoy its shoreline. Tacoma's waterfront and downtown district offer a variety of historic sites and museums including the Museum of Glass co-founded by world renowned glass blower Dale Chihuly. Other museums like the Tacoma Art and History Museums, and the Foss Waterway Maritime Museum offer interactive experiences. Numerous antique shops, art galleries, boutiques, eateries and pubs line Tacoma's downtown avenues. While waterfront parks and public piers allow for natural escapes from the city, Tacoma has a decadent theatre district housing world class performing artists and symphonies on a regular basis.
