All About Cowichan Bay, BC

This very scenic and quaint coastal village is located on the southeastern end of Vancouver Island. Visitors to this small village will find unique shops, Victorian buildings, and opportunities for kayaking, fishing, sailing and wine tasting. Cowichan was settled in 1860 and is still a hotbed of culture, history and community activities. The Wooden Boat Society in town gives the public a chance to see woodworkers restoring a number of boats and tourists can enjoy a walk by Hecate Park with views of the marina. There are a couple of local homes that offer an opportunity for an overnight stay or plan ahead and book at one of the local hotels and inns.
